Russian Festival

In Russia people love festivals! There is a lot of food . Some people even have picnics. Then comes the parade. In the parade you can see the new car models, women dancers in white dresses and men singers in red costumes. Then people compete in games like shooting gallery.  After that we have a show. Dancers and singers come back on the stage. They sing and dance and all people watch them. For the closing entertainment magicians perform magic tricks. Finally,  all of the people that performed come back on the stage so you can take pictures and get autographs. So now you know all about Russian festivals.

    We have a big parade and a festival. We dress up in dragon heads and gods costumes.  We have lots of food like meat, chilies and chickens.  We honor the gods and we have a big fire work show at the Forbidden City.  Chinese New Year is fun!


    The Hatch Festival and my carnival are alike in some ways.  They both have games and contests.  Also, they have lots of rides.  However, the Hatch Festival is different from my carnival because they don't have cooking contests and queen contests. These are how the Hatch Festival and my carnival are alike and different.

     I am going to compare the Hatch Festival to mine.  In the Hatch Festival there are many chiles.  Parades were taking place in the viallage.  Ristras were made for a sign of welcome.  They had a Queen Contest for the red chiles and the green chilis.  That is what the Hatch festival is about.
    In my carnival they had lots of games.  There was only one ride in the carnival.  The carnival took place in my school.  They had a contes on thecake walk.  That is what is in my carnival.
