Dear Joseph,
Today something exciting happened. George
Washington came to my workshop and asked me to make a flag for the
United
States of America. George Washington showed me a sketch. I
didn't like it at all. I told him that 5 sided stars are easier
to
make then the 6 sided stars.
After I made the first American flag the British
scared most people away, but I decided to stay . I let some stay
in my workshop. I was nice to them but I still let them know who
is the boss.
Sincerely,
Betsy Ross
Dear Joseph,
It was an exciting moment when General George
Washington
come to my shop and told me to make the flag to represent our
country.
I made some changes on the flag and the General really liked it.
So I was making it. Then when I finished it I put it our on my
wall
and showed it to everybody.
George, I really miss you so much. I hope
you come back from the war soon.
Love,
Betsy
Dear Joe,
General George Washington came to our house.
