Summer Vacation Begins

Remember Summer School starts
June 6th
at
Renner

I will be teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th ELL students.
Our summer theme will be baseball.
 
Rebekah Miles will teach K-2 grade.
She teaches pre-school at Central Office during the regular school year.

In my opinion it is very beneficial for your children to attend, and your children have a good time too.
The students continue to develop skills
and they are less likely to forget what they have been taught during the school year.

Flag Day is June 14. 
Flags will be flying on this day.

Father's Day is celebrated this month.
This year it is on Sunday, June 19.
It is always held on the third Sunday in June.

Remember to visit the library and read over the summer.  Twenty minutes of reading a day can increase vocabulary by 1500 words a year.

I will continue to develop the web page.  Check back often to see new pages added daily.
Remember to sit with your children while they are on the

computer
as sometimes children accidentally encounter an inappropriate site. 

 Safety on the net is important.
